Churned Drives Small Batch Ice Cream to St. Pete

A British guy & his American wife were biking down the boardwalk in Hastings, England. As they rode up to an old-fashioned ice cream truck, they realized that it wasn’t just selling ice cream- they provided many smiles along with it. An idea started to brew like a good cup of English tea… “Could they somehow sell happiness by the scoop as well?”

The adventure in the 1971 Volkswagen Bus (named Diva due to her demanding nature) took them on a cross-Atlantic 5,500-mile journey. After searching for over 3 months, they cruised along St. Petersburg, FL’s beautiful North Bay boardwalk.  Memories flooded back of England & it all just ‘clicked.’ This was home. …& so it began.  

What this couple started is continued by a Florida boy who grew up on baseball, apple pie, and, you guessed it, ice cream!  We share a passion for our local community and spreading good cheer wherever we go.

Our ice cream is made from a traditional custard with only five ingredients: milk, cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Our flavors do NOT include any preservatives, dyes, or anything multisyllabic or artificial. When you eat Churned Small Batch Ice Cream, you eat “The Good Stuff”!
